Dreaming of my somday farm - If its meant to be, it will happen!

I don't know how far off my dreams of living the farm life really is. It could be months, years, or it may never happen. This is my biggest dream in life and I am far to pessimistic to think it could really become reality. :P

I know I want to keep bees, chickens, a couple of sheep, a pig, some kitty's, and get a couple more dogs. Mostly, I dream of raising fruits and veggies. I have been reading all I can get my hands on on all of these subjects and am completely fascinated by it all (especially the bees!! I cant seem to learn fast enough!). I know, reading is not the same as doing. Its all really scary at the same time but its who I feel I truly am meant to be, who I always have been.

I have been hearing a lot about food bank shortages happening in the US right now. I know If I could successfully grow I would setup a regular donations. That would be my ultimate farming goal! I feel we are all put on this planet to help one another and this is where my place is.

I don't have the experience. It would defiantly be a learn as you go type situation but I am so ready to put in all the hard work its going to take!!

My purpose for creating this blog is mostly for my own reference in the hopes I do make it. I plan to log:

I also want to share my journey from suburban mom of 5 (soon to be 6) living in a too small town home with no yard to speak of to a family farm in rural WA.
